His career Emmy total is a record 75, with 7 of them for best anchor. His other journalistic achievements include 40 A.P. awards, 9 Edward R. Murrow awards, and 2 Eclipse awards.
Chef S. Dean Corbett’s extensive culinary background includes restaurant, hotel and private club experiences. In 2000, Chef Corbett opened Jack’s Lounge named after his late father and former business partner. Recognized for its award-winning cocktails and bar list, the lounge garnered rave reviews and received a “Best of Louisville” award three years in a row.
Denny Crum directed the Cardinals to 23 NCAA Tournament appearances. Three of his squads participated in the NIT, reaching the NIT semifinals in 1985. The Cardinals captured or shared 12 Metro Conference regular season titles and 11 post-season tournament championships under Crum's guidance.

Dr. Ricky L. Jones is Professor and Chair of the University of Louisville's Department of Pan-African Studies. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Jones was educated at the U.S. Naval Academy, Morehouse College, and the University of Kentucky. Dr. Jones has served as an analyst across various media including HBO's “Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel”, CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360”, a variety of NPR and PBS programs, E! Entertainment, Al Jazeera in English, The Katie Couric Show, and THE TERRY MEINERS’ SHOW. He is a columnist for Louisville’s most popular alternative weekly, the Louisville Eccentric Observer and the Louisville Courier-Journal.
Angie Fenton is editor in chief of Extol Magazine and a correspondent for WHAS11’s “Great Day Live!” A Michigan native who moved to Louisville in 2002, Angie vividly remembers the hot, summer day she arrived in Kentuckiana and found herself listening to some guy named Terry Meiners (on AM radio of all things!) as she crossed the Ohio River. Within months, the two met and they’ve been friends ever since, which could possibly change once Angie has the opportunity to roast Terry. Angie and her husband, Jason Applegate, reside in New Albany with their four dogs, one cat and a fish named Laverne. They’ll welcome their first child – a daughter named Olive – in early 2016.
A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Dawne Gee has had the opportunity to enjoy a diverse broadcasting career in her hometown. Gee is proud to celebrate 20 years with NBC affiliate, WAVE 3 anchoring everynewscast the station has offered at one time or another. She is responsible now for WAVE 3 News at 5:30pm and 7:30pm. Airing Weekends on WAVE 3, WAVE Country with Dawne Gee showcases the wonderful people, places and events in our community. Gee enjoyed 17 years in radio broadcasting in the city, ending her career at Cox Radio as an On-Air Personality and Promotion Director of all the company’s local properties.
Over the years Kevin has worked with the area's best meteorologists: Tom Wills and John Belski, Kevin's mentor. Upon the announcement of John's retirement in September 2010, Kevin was named Chief Meteorologist at WAVE 3.

Mitch McConnell, Jr. is the senior United States Senator from Kentucky. A member of the Republican Party, he has been the Majority Leader of the Senate since January 3, 2015. He is the second Kentuckian to lead his party in the Senate, and he is also the longest-serving U.S. senator in Kentucky history. He told us that his top priority this year was to make Terry a one-term honoree.

Kelsey Starks grew up in Owensboro, Kentucky where her passion for journalism began at Owensboro High School. She went on to major in broadcast journalism at the University of Kentucky.

Kent Taylor took over as just the fourth 11 o'clock sports anchor in WAVE 3 history in January of 2002. He was named "Kentucky TV Sportscaster of the Year" by the Associated Press in 2008, 2009, 2012, and 2015.
Tony Vanetti is a 25 year veteran of radio and television in Louisville. This Rock Jock and Sports Show Host is currently on 95.7 WQMF and 790am WKRD, the afternoon underdogs. Tony also fills in as host and reporter for WHAS 11’s “Great Day Live!”
